The seconds team for the three day match against MCC Young Cricketers at Eastbourne:
PD Salt C Cachopa*+ JW Jenner CAL Davis TJ Haines DMW Rawlins J Billings LJ Hatchett JC Archer JR Winslade TH Moses DT Doram
Pity that Basil Akram isn't appearing - perhaps not available, although he was specifically shown as "triallist" in yesterdays 20 over match.

Hope Salt can get a score today, he's been having a lean period of late.

Some serious names in the Surrey side. I suppose this must be Foottitt's rehab match.
A Harinath* DP Sibley BT Foakes A Kapil JE Burke OR Batchelor+ DA Douthwaite FOE van den Burgh CM Jones GS Virdi MHA Foottitt
On edit: Ane he's got rid of a man with two first-class hundreds this season, so perhaps he's feeling better?

Luke Wells - county cap last week, back in the seconds this week without complaint and likely to stay there until Arundel. You have to admire his stoical attitude. Although he did once make an England Lions squad, he's never going to achieve higher honours but he has everything it takes to be what used to be called a 'solid county pro' for the next ten years and more - assuming Sussex continues to be prepared to fund cricketers to play solely in the CC.

Good to see Finch and Cachopa among the runs.

Once school commitments are over, it's no more trialists in these games, barring an injury crisis, or a potential new overseas we want to look at. We need to see what the likes of Haines, Rawlins, Doram and Jenner can do in the remaining matches

Another good win yesterday, and another good all performance from young academy prospect Delray Rawlins He seems to have pushed himself to the fore, as the man most likely to, of all the academy prospects
