This is great news for Jofra but not for Sussex. England have a heavy schedule next year and we could be without Jofra for most of it. Let’s hope this is the jolt the management need to get recruiting sooner rather than later. We wish, it’s already later Most counties already have their squads in place Well quite. Whoa! This is a bolt from the Caribbean blue. Jofra tweets, "It may or may not happen but I would love to debut in front of my family." Top three looks less likely with that news. |

Unless he forgoes his Big Bash stint and does the 210 days quicker. According to his Twitter feed he’s hoping to make his England debut in front of his family in the West Indies. |

We get him for the games between January and March then? From a Sussex point of view, well, we'll do well to get several games per season from him from now. From England's point of view, he is just what they need, especially abroad. From the Windies point of view, oh dear, what are we doing wrong? Maybe his family will be chuffed to see him paying for England against his own country. Seems crazy to me. |
