Yes quite, that’s why 7 seamers isn’t that enough.

Read on Twitter that Korea has pulled it of the Hong Kong T20 tournament and has turned to Sussex to be assessed. Hope it's only minor....

Sussex need to take a grip of the situation and manage him properly. His career was extremely ravaged by injury prior to joining Sussex and we can’t afford to be without him next season when he returns from the IPL.

What the *** hell is he doing in Hong Kong? Three major T20 comps per year is ample for his back and bank balance. Cricket in Hong Kong? Someone's taking the p**s.

He’s pulled out of the HK tournament with an ankle injury. He also has to be careful to spend at least 210 days a year in England to qualify his residency, although I can see him being tempted to play for the WI before his qualification, in the World Cup in England next year and the World T20 in Oz in 2020.

Impressive debut for Jofra in his first IPL game for Rajasthan Royals, returning figures of 3/22 from his 4 overs.

Jofras IPL team have made it through to the knockout stages, as has Jordan’s so no early return for either of them unfortunately.

Jofras IPL team have made it through to the knockout stages, as has Jordan’s so no early return for either of them unfortunately. It's all over in the next week though. I do worry that Jofra's batting may have suffered. In most matches as far as I noticed, he has either faced 0 or about 3 balls. I noticed that he opened in the last game and scored 0. His batting is more than useful and dangerous for opponents. I recall last season that Chris Jordan came back from India and found it hard at first to get runs even though he ended the season well.

"Jofra Archer will be available to play for England from 1 January 2019 after the England and Wales Cricket Board agreed to change its rules over eligibility. The governing body has stated that this move brings them in line with the International Cricket Council’s eligibility regulations. It also means Archer, who has previously represented West Indies at Under-19s level, could in theory be selected for the tour of the Caribbean that begins in January." www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/nov/29/jofra-archer-available-england-ecb-eligbility-rules-cricket

This is great news for Jofra but not for Sussex. England have a heavy schedule next year and we could be without Jofra for most of it.
Let’s hope this is the jolt the management need to get recruiting sooner rather than later.

Whoa! This is a bolt from the Caribbean blue. Jofra tweets, "It may or may not happen but I would love to debut in front of my family."
