Surely changes must be made for the Yorkshire game Ali Orr must play been batting well in the 2s give the lad a go can’t do any worse than some of the batters playing in the 1st team at the moment

I have lost track of which overseas players we have for the rest of the season. Does anyone know who can we expect to see playing for us during the RLODC and the rest of the CC games?

I've been asking that question for the last month Phil and either nobody knows or I'm not quite the popular chap I assumed I was. I'm pretty sure it's Pujara. Then draw a straw. That rhymed and you know it did.
I've heard that all the India team are potentially available for the rest of the county season after these T20s and the test. Siraj anyone? A bit of Bumrah? Shami? We need someone and I'd be very happy with that guy, what's his name, Ish something? I can't remember.
We definitely, definitely need someone and it also double definitely needs to be a bowler. Even if we've got someone like Rizwan lined up, it needs unlining. We got a week til a huge game. Get it done Sussex.

Yorks have just signed Gabriel - it's great that he's not milky white but how will the Yorkies gay alliance feel about it? I dunno, beat one prejudice down and another one pops up. What a world.
Any which way, black, white, sky blue pink, gay, straight, Ladyboy, he's just what we're looking for right now. Have we got the pulling power of Yorkshire? A lot more gay bars so on this occasion, probably not.

Chaps and all The issue going forward for red ball is with the bowling. Our batting is showing good promise. Orr, Haines, Alsop, Pujarah, Clarke, Carter. Now where are the bowlers? Crocombe has showed promise. Haines has to bowl more, as does Clarke. Do we deed another 4. Rawlins has shown he can keep an end tied up, but not consistently. We hope Carson comes back for this. Hunt has shown some promise. Finn when fully fit can bowl well. Garton, FH-P,Ibrahim,Coles,Hinley,Atkins. Can't help thinking we need one quality bowler that wont leak runs and will take wickets.Robinson?  ? Get this right and we should keep improving as a team; results will follow. |

Can’t really understand why they’ve done this especially as we have nothing to play for now.
I just hope it doesn’t mean Currie and/or Karvelas have been nabbed by another county. Neither played in the recent 2nd XI game.

No reflection on Ashraf, I am sure he is a very fine player, but I am with you Joe. This makes absolutely no sense. We are playing for nothing, the funds could be better used towards strengthening next season and the three games should be used to further look at Karvelas and Currie. Hudson-Prentice also appears to now be fit enough to bowl. This signing or one similar would have made sense three months ago when we still had a chance to rescue our red ball campaign. |
