Brad Currie signs new 1 year contract.
This is good news as it means his bowling issue is resolved.

Looks like we’ll have some strength in depth to our bowling next season and real competition for places. Things are definitely looking up.

Im going to only assume 1 player wont be available ad that's Archer because he is at the IPL. To me there's no reason Ollie shouldn't play. Haines Orr Alsop Pujara Clark Ibrahim Tear Garton McAndrew Robinson Carson Obviously the batting order for the tail can be debated. Leaving the following unselected. Ward Coles Carter Rawlins Atkins Crocombe Finn FHP Hunt Karvelas Lenham Currie Looks to be enough depth on all fronts arguably too many bowling options. 7 seamers not playing however it looks like Farbrace has plenty of flexibility within this squad. |

I think a full pre-season for Garton we'll allow to him to hone his skills again and he's surely a potential match winner in all formats for us. |

In the dream scenario of selecting from our 2023 squad I would choose:
Orr
Haines
Alsop
Smith
Pujara
Carter
FHP
Garton
Robinson
Archer
Carson
Obviously we won’t have all 11 of these available at any one time (and will be lucky to have 9) but we do have some good alternatives, so I’m feeling optimistic for the first time in several seasons.
