This year we’ve lost Finn, Atkins, Garton and Currie from the championship squad. We’ve signed an all-rounder and an overseas. We need more domestic seam bowlers.
At the moment we have Crocombe, Hunt and Karvelas plus maybe Robinson if he or the ECB decide he can play, god help us if one or 2 get injured.

Not saying not we need more but there are options, losing atkins makes zero difference to the season ahead.
We do need stronger options but signing a player for signings sake is utterly pointless. Robinson ive heard is prvisionally able for 3-4 of the first 7 games and then thats it for the season if hes still with England.

Good luck to him… Well none of our bowlers have improved under Kirtles and Atkins has gone from taking Michelle’s to leaving the game so yes I’d say it’s poor management! I wonder whether Ian Sailsbury still thinks he’s the best bowling coach in the world?! 🤣 |

Brad Currie has international commitments and the decision was for a T20 contract to maintain a red ball budget for a seamer, its very sensible. Dont fall for the weve got no players thing, as CP pointed out yesterday weve a huge squad its just very young but look at Luke Littler, if you're good enough you're old enough. |
