Crocombe benefiting from the selectors’ current whim of going weak at the knees when anyone shows a bit of pace. Very pleased him for though. If Hull can play a test, why not Crocombe a lions tour?

Coles is a little fortunate. He’s had a forgetable red hall season and there are plenty of good young batsmen around. Big season coming up for Coles if he wants to be next in line behind Joe Root.

Also the bounce Crocs gets he fits the England bill so they are probably looking at him and that level of coaching can only be a positive for him, shocked about Carson he's been on the radar for quite a while i wonder if they have something else planned for him in terms of development this winter.

Has bided his time and now looks as though he can used his pace effectively.
My Yorkshire mate told me that Otis Gibson gave him some some up in Scarborough. Since then he has done well.
Makes you wonder whether Kirtley offers anything to this squad.
