Here we go. Another example of Brown's inept captaincy. Rather than going for the Glamorgan jugular, he is giving Rawlins bowling practice.

We don't look like getting Carlson out!

We will win this game. But Brown's captaincy has to be questioned? 194 for 5 and he is defending the boundary rope. Clueless. This is embarrassing.

With the exception of Robinson we are bowling absolute rubbish! Our bowling attack is village standard at best. Our bowling attack is bloody toothless.

With the exception of Robinson we are bowling absolute rubbish! Our bowling attack is village standard at best. Our bowling attack is bloody toothless. Added to that Brown has no idea what to do with it; nor how to manage the young lads. Van Zyl has gone from 1st change to no change. Haines has forgotten how to bowl. Thomason is no longer a bowler. Keep bowling Rawlins, as he needs practice. Utter madness.

With Carson, Taylor, Douthwaite and Van de Gugten all capable of getting runs plus Weighell averaging 24 and Hogan 17 this is far from over as we are looking absolutely bloody clueless.

WTF is Brown doing? Field placings are absurd.

Oh God, I thought it was just football fans that are raving how great things are one minute then moaning the next🤦♂️, but no, it’s just modern social media driven society🙄 Let’s have some balance - it’s obviously a good track and they’re not going to just give their wickets away. Look how many runs we added after losing our 5th wicket. We have to be patient and keep chipping away.

Well said .... the moaning and armchair captaincy this afternoon has been very disappointing - anyone would think we were 60 ahead with five wickets in hand. Aren’t we supposed to be supporters ?

I thought Rawlins and Carson bowled with a lot of control before the new ball and kept the runs down. There’s not much in this pitch for the bowlers. As for Browns captaincy, from what I could see the bowlers were setting their own fields and our new vice captain was was in the thick of it too. They were obviously working to a plan.

Well done to Joe for initially pointing out Garton's injury which Salisbury now tells us is a sore heel. I am not surprised his bowling was affected by this on Day 1. We have a fascinating final day's play in prospect which may or may not be full of ups and downs and supporter frustrations. Obviously, getting Carlson out early is absolutely essential. Sussex are presently top of Group 3 at 22 points. Fingers crossed we remain there. Come on Ollie - get your fifer! Championship Round-Up from The Cricketer Magazine

Missed a lot of the action yesterday apart from score updates, so can't comment too much on what was happening.
As has been said by ashingtonmartlet , it's clearly a good batting track with little in it for the bowlers with our first innings as an example of that. Keeping the old fingers crossed and hoping for a positive result later today.

Well done Robinson. Danger man Carlson out. It wont be long before Robinson gets his well deserved debut for England. Keep going Sussex.
