So we have to keep every single player that’s come up though the age groups until what age - 30? We’d have a squad of about 150 if we kept every player from every academy intake. Some are deemed good enough, some aren’t - surely you must be familiar with that? Blimey, I seem to be defending Grubby here! 😮 no you’re right, should’ve giving him more of a chance.

Gordy, we are not well run. You saying that undoes any credit you have in any of your points. We are not being well run, that just isn't happening.

Ash, nobody should be judging 20 year olds who have been good enough for every age group through numerous years on a couple of games. Of course you get rid before 30, you also get rid when they're a kid if they just ain't got it but you should never get rid of someone deemed good enough for numerous years on the basis of a couple of games. Anybody you haven't cut by 16 should get every opportunity to produce until they're 24/25. If they ain't done it by then, you cut. And then you don't end up with 150 players and you give everyone you've put so much into so far a proper chance. It ain't *** rocket science man.

Better have this pretty much wrapped up today or the board will go through the roof. I see a big Michelle for the leggie.
