Orr dropped second ball. Hopefully, he can do what Mullaney and D'Oliveira did to us when we spilled catches they offered in the previous matches.
Shaheen Afridi is a class act. Even without Murtagh and Roland-Jones they look a strong side. A big test this one for Sussex.

At last, couple of decent bowlers to hang the hat on. Despite this I think we should leave a bit on for once. Nobody likes a Brazilian. Surprised Shaheen ain't at IPL. I like him, good bowler. I remember the first time I saw him bowl at 17 and I thought, who is this 38 year old? He's very good. Keep it green. As he’s from Pakistan he can’t / won’t be selected for the IPL. The same reason Rizwan has been signed up! |

Poor ol' Orr. Got lucky with some dropped catches, but no-one deserves a Cadbury
flake. Even so steady as she goes and this is looking really promising, especially after
Pujara smashes two fours off the first two balls after tea.
Sussex: 237-2.

354/6 at close of play and 4 batting bonus points. 46 more tomorrow morning from 14 overs for the maximum.
Rizwan and Garton steadied the ship after 4 fell for not many. Definitely Sussex’s day.

To see us competing again against top sides is amazing. No big runs for Pujara rizwan or Haines to me demonstrates the obvious progress this squad is making

The most pleasing aspect for me was that for the first time in a while we took the game to the opposition. There was confidence in the batting. If Pujara had stayed for an hour, we would have 5 points already. |

Guess it's not a greentop but I still expect Robinson to take 8-25 in their dig. Big game for Crane on the horizon. If a track doesn't assist the leggie on the final day like the last one seemingly didn't there's something wrong Grounders. I can get down there at 3am Sunday with Emu comb if they like? |
