CC game number 5 of 14 brings Middlesex to Hove. Middlesex have started the season well. What hopes for Sussex after an impressive batting display against Durham? Win, lose or draw?

Robinson in for Burrows
Garton in for Rawlins
That would give us the look of more competitive Div 2 team

Looks as if Robinson and Sean Hunt will be available but Garton is a couple of weeks away yet. I don’t expect to see Garton before the T20’s to be honest.
Think Middlesex will be a tough team to take points from but winning the toss and batting first would give us the best chance.

I don’t think he’ll play. It'll be between him and Hunt and if he's fit enough to be in the squad im assuming he is fit enough to play. |

Sam Curran was allowed to bowl 15 overs by the ECB
when he came back recently so it might be something
similar. Will it be a similar pitch to Durham?
If there’s any grass on the pitch Afridi and Roland Jones
will roll over your batsman and the game will be over
before Brighton kick off against Man U at 5:30 on
Saturday!!!

Sam Curran was allowed to bowl 15 overs by the ECB when he came back recently so it might be something similar. Will it be a similar pitch to Durham? If there’s any grass on the pitch Afridi and Roland Jones will roll over your batsman and the game will be over before Brighton kick off against Man U at 5:30 on Saturday!!! Garton isnt controlled by the ECB Steve luckily for us. |

At last, couple of decent bowlers to hang the hat on. Despite this I think we should leave a bit on for once. Nobody likes a Brazilian.
Surprised Shaheen ain't at IPL. I like him, good bowler. I remember the first time I saw him bowl at 17 and I thought, who is this 38 year old? He's very good.
