No reason why Robinson can’t play the next test is 9/10 days away. The ECB are f**king you lot up the arse like they have done to Surrey for years.

Not sure you'd pull a chap from opening after he's hit 180 not out doing it, myself. Haines at 3, Carter for H-P. Even Clark has done well at 3 so not keen on shunting him around either. That's the trouble with a good side.
Neither game on the box, for all my channels. Booked an extra day off after my holiday in Bradford to watch cricket & now I gotta do it on a pissy little laptop. that's 50 overs for ya.
Not sure about the language SurreySteve - oh my.

Fair enough liquid apologies. Wonder if Ollie wanted to play but was blocked by the ECB or wanted to rest in between test matches.

What a dream start.
I was worried Wells would let us know how much of a miss he is so was happy to see him go early.
77/5 after 17

I was worried Wells would let us know how much of a miss he is so was happy to see him go early. 77/5 after 17 Absolutely brilliant start, our seamers continue the trend of taking early wickets in this competition. Hudson-Prentice showing what we have been missing in his absence. I won't be getting carried away until we get Vilas out. A very dangerous batsman who can score big and score quickly.

Spinners leaking runs.
In view of the success of our seamers, I think I would be tempted to give Haines a few overs.

Villas always scores against us. Just need a couple of wickets and everything changes, but don't look anywhere close to getting these two out. Been here before, totally on top and in control (at 67-5), but unable to press home the advantage and finish them off. Need to keep it below 300. Update, kamikaze run out by Lancashire. One end opened up!!

Strange incident with Pujara looking to have caught Vilas on 90 off Rawlins, the umpires then conferred and ruled it not out without checking with Pujara. Would have been a huge wicket

The better teams always find a way.
They should never have got anywhere near that score. At 67-5, if they got 219, let alone 319 they would have done well.
We lost our way once the spinners came on to bowl. Rawlins has been brilliant in white ball this season, but should never have had ten overs today. Could have tried Haines or Clark for a few. Unless, Hudson-Prentice is still managing his workload, no excuse for not bowling his full allocation.
Over to the batters now, which has been our strength in this competition.
This will be a real test. We are not out of it, but we need to be at our best. Chasing 300 plus is always a challenge.
I just hope we haven't missed a real opportunity here after our brilliant start.

Par score at best at Hove. Especially with two strong batting line-ups & two weak attacks. Only caught the last 15, thought we bowled quite poorly frankly. Spinners on way too long by the looks of it.
Good crowd, decent prize money, nice bit of bonus cash to inject into the playing squad either now or next season. Even more with a win.
