Maybe Ash, maybe.... but it is the breaking up of the core Group and contributors that is the key issue. I think it was unfair to bring Haines straight back into the semi-Final for example, and that has carried through into the CC Form. Some changes are unavoidable, like the injuries to Karvelas and Lenham, and the departure of Pujara, but the core Group should have been rewarded with a show of faith rather than the chopping and changing. Ed Smith's selection of Jos Buttler in the test side should have been a template for Kirtley and Flower. Flower's very open criticism of the tactics in this game does not bode well for Haines captaincy future.

We’ve taken the game into the fourth day! True but will we make it past lunch tomorrow? I suggest they all get a good breakfast, otherwise it’ll be a sandwich on the A1.

Has anyone voted?
My champagne moment of the year will be when Rob Andrew walks out of his office at Hove for the last time.

Regarding OS players for next year, maybe we should gracefully let Rizwan play for us again in the T20, especially if he brings along his mate Babar Azam

After tomorrow's game I would sack Salisbury and Kirtley and give Flower the Head coach role with immediate effect.
For the final game I would drop Ibrahim, Tear and Crocombe and bring back Carter, Hudson-Prentice and Currie.

It's pretty clear to me what he's saying Sponge - Andrew is the poison & Filby has the antidote, if he wants to use it. Why wouldn't he? Andrew has overseen us go from a decent side pushing for promotion & one-day honours to the embarrassing shower of **** we see before us week in week out. Our expectations have become so low we think getting to the semi of a 2nd eleven comp with our 1st team is success. The man's been a disaster & with Greenfield as a time served failed 'director' it's a double whammy of downturn.
The club's a joke, nobody knows who the hell's in charge right now. Nobody knows where Salisbury or Kirtley are. Nobody knows why we sign OS when we don't need one, why we don't when we do, why players suddenly get dropped, why the track is always a road, why we bring in so many loans, why our live stream is the worst on the circuit, why we don't disclose contract lengths or why we think it's acceptable to play several 16 year olds in the 1st team. We are the most secretive & anti-overt 'family' club I've ever stumbled across. This has all happened since about what? 2016? Don't remember it like this before Andrew turned up.
The overseas or the coaches are frankly irrelevant if these two stay. I pray to the big man upstairs that Andrew is removed. If that big man happens to be Matt Prior, so be it.

Yeah congrats Steve. Led all the way didn't ya? Pretty much. What's that? 20-3 to you? It ain't over til the fat old trout sings. We need about five seasons to get over the damage our leaders have done so if you can not win any more for a while that would help.

Be careful what you pray for liquid. Change is needed, but Prior is not the catalyst. Filby has always come across as being a reasonable and rationale human being. I'm sure he has listened to Prior as well as many others; however the many others don't tend to mouth off on twitter. Change is needed for all the reasons you have stated. There have been improvements in personal performance this year; but these are overshadowed by the shambolic man and team management of Salisbury and Kirtley. I now see a team of disjointed individuals. On the whole too young and inexperienced to know what to do. Too many are being thrown under the bus, and likely not supported. The thought of a successful home grown based team seems a long way off, based on what has happened this season. I can't see Andrew, Greenfield, Kirtley and Salisbury all going. Can you?

I reckon only Salisbury will go, & that's only cos we're left to presume he already has. I live in hope though & Fred West could be the catalyst for all I care.
Anywho, Haines is due, Sun's shining up there I think so let's save this horrific game.
Go Hitman.
