That could actually be slander that previous post. I'd be careful Oh do grow up! Accusing someone of doing things they havent done is pretty childish in itself. Not liking a bloke is one thing but the lies are just purely unfair.

If you are reading this Rob, I think you are doing a great job! Haha! Ive always admired Keith coming from a similar background to myself and having someone from a state education gave me someone to look up to. I'd like to take a guess thats why he isnt liked. Cricket has that snobbery still and thats why he should be proud of the work he is doing with Rod at BACA.

I’m also state educated and have always hated the fact that cricket is becoming more and more a game for private school kids. However I just don’t think Keith did a good job at all with the first team. Maybe he’s more suited to the academy?

One interesting takeaway from the Paul Farbrace press conference was his making the point, and then making it a second time for emphasis, that it was essential to surround young, exciting cricketers with a core of more experienced players from whom they could learn, and suggesting that he might need to do some recruiting in that regard. It seemed to me a fairly pointed rebuttal of the policy pursued by the management over the past few seasons. And, of course, the chief architect of that policy decision was sitting right alongside him. But our CEO then doubled down and came over all Edith Piaf with a "Je ne regrette rien" routine. Most of those posting on this message board in recent seasons have, of course, been making exactly the same point as Farbrace and bemoaning the club fielding such inexperienced teams, especially in 2020 and 2021.

Well it is a big step forward and start of proper management for the team by someone with ambition to win games ,promotion so I will be fully supporting the staff, chairman and the team 100%.
