Back home for this one. Glamorgan are currently 4th with 1 win and 4 draws, the same as us.
Will we have Ollie Robinson back? Will they have fixed the gremlins in the livestream? What sort of wicket will we produce? Will Steve Smith manage to make an impact?
The weather looks to be set fair for the 4 days.
GOSBTS!

I know it's still a bit of a way off yet, but it already feels like a big game:
Lots of internationals playing
Weather looks to be ok which hasn't been the case for a lot of games this season
Bowling looks stronger with Currie and Karvelas
Durham with a potentially tricky game at Gloucestershire so there is a chance (albeit a faint one) of going top of the league going into the break for the start of the T20 Blast which would be a big confidence boost and statement
Any danger of some Smith runs? Hopefully Orr can find his feet as well. Hasn't looked quite as fluid and confident this season, but I'm sure he'll come good again. Hopefully they'll have sorted the issues with the stream. I can't do another 4 days of watching a wobbly camera which cuts out every few overs with out of sync commentary from Harms. GOSBTS.

Orr Haines Alsop Pujara Coles Carter Hudson-Prentice Robinson McAndrew Carson Karvelas You don’t sign Steve Smith on a short term contract and then not select him, unless you want to be a laughing stock, so he’s definitely going to play. Added spice in this game as he faces his protégée Labuschagne which I suspect will inspire both to make big scores. This one shouldn’t be ruined by rain, so although Glamorgan are a difficult opponent we really should be targeting a victory here.

And the return of Carson too. Not sure whether he’ll play instead of Coles though. If he does, I anticipate this lineup:
Orr Haines Alsop Pujara Smith Carter Hudson-Prentice Carson Robinson Karvelas Crocombe

Looks a strong line up and with the weather seemingly settled, should bring another win.
We may need to tap into Smith’s advice on dismissing his big scoring Aussie/Saffer team mate….

Given the squad named my eleven would be Orr, Haines, Alsop, Pujara, Smith, Carter, Hudson-Prentice, Robinson, Carson, Karvelas, Crocombe.
In terms of the fourteen named I was very surprised Currie was dropped for Hunt.

We’ve won the toss and bowling first. Orr Haines Alsop Pujara Smith Coles Carter Hudson-Prentice Carson Karvelas Robinson Hasnt taken him long to break from the i'll always play 4 seamers but i really like this selection. It's very aggressive, we have 4 front line bowlers with able support form Haines and Coles. Karvelas at 11 too shows huge strength in the batting.

Don’t suppose many predicted we’d play both Coles and Carter but it’s working so far. Labuschagne out for just one run!

Got to be happy with 8 down before lunch after we put them in. Just hope we don’t let the tail wag again.

123 all out, fantastic effort from the bowlers. 3 easy bowling points.

And been fully vindicated as not only have we bowled them out but the fill-in 4th seamer got 2 wickets.
