I haven’t suggested anything, just thought people would be interested in his recent stats. Im just asking you if youd drop him and or still sign him based on a poor season in the Sheffield Shield. I have no thoughts either way tbh, not really heard of him but more than willing to give him a chance. |

Yeah id like to see him, my concern is signing him and Pujara is 2 different positions in the batting order. So youd hope we will be signing a player domestically that can bat in multiple positions too. |

He’s a 34 year old with a career average of 36 who’s just been dropped I’d be surprised if any county signs a bat with worse stats than that Now I can’t really comment if he’s any good or not as I’ve never seen him play but let’s be honest here on paper he doesn’t look great And we’ve just got rid of a 22 year old averaging 39! Only Sussex…. |

Sheffield Shield cricket is a much higher standard than Div 2. Some of the bowling attacks in Div 2 are awful so Hughes should
score a good amount of runs for you lot.

Here for the CC and the Blast. Him and Wardy opening up in the Blast wont be boring!
Watched some highlights of him yesterday and hes a very interesting technique, rarely moves his feet but he has incredibly quick hands.
