We are batting first. Hughes comes in for Lamb. Good to see Hunt get another opportunity. A brave and I feel sensible decision. Rather a specialist bowler than the extra all rounder, particularly with Hughes fit and available. |

Hughes showed a lot of skill in that knock especially on this deck, looks an interesting toss to lose.
Robbo likely to be around all season now so first things first tie him up on a long term deal then with him we should win the needed games to get us over the line. The annoying thing is if they had little intention of picking him why did they refuse to let him play the other 2 games.

Two things:
Is fielder dishonesty around balls crossing the boundary rope a new thing? We have been on the receiving end of a few now this season.
Second - I’ve thought this for a couple of weeks. Coles needs a rest. He is playing too much cricket. The concentration levels aren’t there atm.

If memory serves it was revealed in the members forum, and confirmed by Farbrace, that it was Ollie’s choice not to play in those games. Yes, Not looking good for his international prospects. He can’t be far away though if he keeps taking wickets for Sussex. |

He’s been pretty good but below his best. As it stands the bowling options in that squad look underwhelming. Potts and Atkinson are both lucky to be there, Pennington has plenty to prove and Bashir looks unlikely to get many wickets in English conditions. Would obviously love to be proven wrong. |
