We get it, you don’t like him but you are way off the mark in many of the things you’ve said. He’s been at Sussex for 16 years and was always going to stay here. Unfortunately he’s been forced out the same way as Brown and Wells were. There are always two sides to a story. |

The only 2 that seem to say that are you and John and what do both of you have in common? The Agenda! Interestingly you've now turned on Farbrace by saying he's been forced out of the club. |

Please don’t misquote me, I said forced out of the club like Brown and Wells, Farbrace wasn’t here then! Youve said the same way and it was Farbrace who agreed to his request to leave Sussex a year early. So when you say it was the same how was it? Apologies for the assumption but you see where i was confused its the same anti management narrative used when talking about Grubby Rob and John. |

Of course Farbrace agreed, you can’t keep someone who doesn’t want to be here. What you have to ask yourself is why he doesn’t want to be here when he’s got a year to go on a very well paid contract.

Had Garton known in advance that Rob Andrew would be leaving, I wonder if this would have affected his decision. Anyhow, Garton has flattered to deceive too many times in my view, so I’m happy to see if Warwickshire can get more out of him.

To be fair, this is best for both parties. Sussex stood by him during his long Covid problems and he repaid the club by miraculously being fit for all of his games in the 100 rubbish while never being fit for Sussex. His departure no doubt frees up a decent slug of wages and with today's departure of Orr, hopefully these funds can now be used on more committed players.
