As this game heads for a draw, one thing seems to be a regular feature.
Derbyshire 1st innings - 191 - 22 extras - 11.5% of the runs Sussex 1st innings - 468 - 9 extras - 1.9% of the runs Derbyshire 2nd innings (so far) - 43 - 8 extras - 18.6% of the runs
I think there have been big differences in the two home games as well.

Mark Davis in upbeat, and let's hope, realistic mode audioboom.com/boos/4552105-sussex-head-coach-mark-davis-on-derbyshire-draw-injury-latestHe says that they are aiming for Luke Wright to be fit for the first T20 on 20 May. Meanwhile some less positive stuff about Shahzad recovering dfrom his side injury and training for Friday and "we'll see", which sounds a bit like the early stages of confronting last year's Shahzad injury. Also that Taylor is suffering from a finger injury, which has been obvious since the Northampton game.

I've noticed that Phil. And the seconds. And it ain't just this season. Those extra runs, nearly all no-balls. No-balls astonish me from a professional cricketer, or anyone who has eyes really.
So it rained Wednesday and was sunny Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday, they sound similar. Easy...easy to get the two confused. Damn weather. We were all over that game.
