Fraudster - 15 wickets in three days that's the problem! My money is on the draw. My prediction is for Glamorgan to reach 293-7 when they shake hands.

A lot to applaud.
All change after tea as our plodding batting changed to T20. Then a brave declaration which has led to an early wicket. Much to applaud. A couple of early wickets first thing tomorrow morning and it's game on.
Can our bowlers do it?
They say the primary difference between Division 1 and 2 is the mental resolve. If Glamorgan are 4 down by lunch this game is ours for the taking.

I don't understand the negativity. Sussex are in the box seat. Now down to our bowlers. Too many impotent spinners? We shall find out tomorrow.
You sound like you want Sussex to fail? Why?

Fantastic knocks and partnership from Wells and Brown.
Good to see the declaration coming before end of play, positive cricketing tactics and the bonus of a wicket., 9 to go! GOSBTS!

But most of that was them trying to take ours while a main bowler light - we were lucky with that by the way. We took seven of theirs on the first day, and people were moaning. If it's such a road then well done on the first day boys. This is the perfect situation for the spinners. We've employed at least two proper twirlers and this is why they are in the side. People can talk about first innings figures for spinners all they want but they are virtually irrelevant. You judge them on the second innings and this is where they step up. I've been waiting for an opportunity like this for Beer for years, and he's got a mate or two tomorrow as well. Let the judgement begin.

I think we did well to take seven wickets on the first day. There is nothing in the wicket for the seamers or the spinners which is going to make it very difficult to force a result. Seamers want pace and bounce which is something this pitch lacks in both areas. Spinners want turn which again there has been very little evidence of to date. We amassed 552-5 and if our batsmen can score on this then I fail to see why theirs can't as well. The only winner will be the pitch.

Well as long as you're not giving the team talk in the morning I think we have a chance. These are the tests some players need anyway, with a view to a much bigger picture. Roll on.

Indeed. 4 down at lunch sounds a lot better than 3 (not that I would complain if it's 5 down).

Oh dear... no-more wickets... 187-4... it's getting away from us. Trailing by just 30 runs. At least, one could dream at lunch.

That took me back! When it comes to the uncontrollables in life, it's a useful philosophy.
