Surely has to be time for surgery now These days, we tend to assume that surgery can cure any musculoskeletal issue. Let's hope it works for Jofra.

The "Jofra Jeopardy" continues at an increasing pace. The Club has just announced that after seeing a medical specialist about his sore elbow this week, Jofra will immediately proceed to surgery tomorrow (Friday). "All at Sussex Cricket wish Jofra well for his surgery and subsequent recovery," and so say all of us.

News of Archer after his recent Elbow op
From the ECB
England and Sussex seam bowler Jofra Archer had surgery to address his long-standing elbow issues on Friday. Archer will now commence an intensive rehabilitation period working with the ECB and Sussex medical teams. His progress will be reviewed by his consultant in approximately four weeks, at which point further guidance will be provided as to when he can return to bowling. A further update will be given at the time.

The ECB has a track record in delaying surgery for players, making them play a bit longer, making the injury worse and either making them unavailable for key test series. (Flintoff, Vaughan, Stokes,) Archer has 3rd rate surgery and is F**ked for the T20 WC & Ashes. Well done Giles & Harrison, you keep chasing magical money with the 100 crap. No other country has this problem with its top players. Don't the ECB ever learn? No, is the answer. Good luck Jofra, heal well young man

I think he may be right unfortunately. This will be the third op on the same elbow and elbows are notoriously tricky to operate on. Graham Swann and Tim Bresnan will testify to that.
There is still a very good career to be had in the short form of the game if that’s what Jofra is limited to. There aren’t many franchise teams across the world who wouldn’t want him, and at the top wage bracket.

Obviously premature to speculate but we'd see him more in that instance, in out T20 team that is. He's young, he'll come through.

And you don't need to be an Andyb to know that.
There goes my Archer/Robinson first game of the season plan.
