The idea that people would forgo coming to the ground if they could in order to watch a grainy lives stream is laughable. It surely wouldn't be hard to stream the game, just a camera connected to an alright computer with a decent internet connection.

If Sussex are concerned about live match feeds affecting their attendance figure, why not start with covering the runt of the format litter, home RLC matches?

252 all out and scored quickly. Good news as it makes the chances of a result much higher. The bowlers have done their job even though it could have been less. Let's hope our batsmen can leave us in a good position at the end of the day. Fingers and toes crossed

Yep, if only, when Glamorgan were 56-5. Let's get to 100 for no wicket and this day will feel a lot better.
Meanwhile, Harms ruminating about Joyce's future at the club. It seems he still hasn't made a decision after his contract ends this year. I'd imagine Wright and Davis will try very hard to persuade him to stay for another season. He's such quality and will be extremly difficult to replace.

Huge Congratulations to Ed Joyce for passing 1,000 runs this season. A class act.

I've just read that England have made Cook available for Essex's top of the table clashes with Leics and Worcs : www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/37157718I'd say that makes Essex almost certainties to hold on to their top spot and secure promotion. Congratulations to the unfeasibly-named Leicestershire import Dieter Klein (surely he was in Tangerine Dream or was it Neu?) for taking two quick Essex wickets, notably Cook's. That should keep the pot boiling for another day....

Some clarification from Adrian Harms on commentary on the position of Ollie Robinson: "He's still around, he's been captaining the second XI and he scored 95 the other day but he's not being considered for the first team." No explanation of why not.
But on the disappearance of Ajmal Shahzad off the face of the planet Harms had not a word to say. Why is this all so hush-hush? What's the dark secret? Has he been abducted by aliens?

Exploring every opportunity life brings. Any enquiries : Contact @teamism It is quite extraordinary. Sussex signed three new fast bowlers amid great fanfare at the start of the 2015 season - Shahzad, Mills and Robinson. In two seasons since,Mills has played 2 CC matches, Shazad 11 matches and Robinson 18 matches, the last of which was at Arundel back in June. Then there's Hatchett who has made 4 CC appearances in the last two seasons. Who would be a fast bowler? Makes you realise the worth of someone like Magoffin who has bowled more than 950 overs in the CC since the start of last season and with four-and-a-half-matches still to go will probably bowl a couple of hundred more before he's allowed a rest...

Watching the live stream right now - firstly there is a man with mover/roller going back and forth, but then on the right, where Sussex are having a net, Shahzad appears to be bowling!

Excellent bowling from Glamorgan. Their groundsmen have sprinkled the pitch with spice. Even better batting from Briggs and Nash who are fighting to keep their wickets. Great to see.
Re: Shahzad, perhaps, he is untameable if even Jason Gillespie cannot control him. He came to Sussex with a fiery, rebellious and streetfighter reputation after being rejected by Yorkshire, Lancashire and Notts. Perhaps, Robinson thought he could tame Shazza which no other county coach had achieved? Once gone, Davis had no chance - particularly given the reserved culture of the club.
Either that or Shahzad's injury from last season has not fully recovered and leaves him with regular niggly problems.

12.30 on day two:-
Sussex 154-1
Essex 68-5
If Sussex beat Glam and Leics beat Essex, the difference between the two counties could by Friday be down to little more than 20 points, with Sussex having a game in hand plus a game still to play... against Essex.
Not making any predictions. Just sayin'!!!
