I decided to stop work and watch the live stream. First ball I see is Wells getting out lbw.

The intensity that Nash and Wells were playing at was excellent there. Shame Luke got out there to one that skidded on because that was looking a really good partnership and Luke was playing really well.

IMO no point in playing the game unless you try to win and at this point we should actually be favourites. Not sure about the pitch but I would aim for just over 4 an over if possible and review on a regular basis. Should be close either way. That seems to be the script that Sussex are following. Incidentally while there are legitimate worries about the possible loss of Joyce we should recognise what an excellent seaon Nash is enjoying I have never thought Chris Nash has got the credit he deserves. I know he's appreciated by Sussex fans but he has been consistent performer for many years as over 10,000 runs and an average of almost 40 prove. Great man to have in the squad too as well as an inspiration for the younger players.

Excitement to the final overs. Great stuff. Just go for it Sussex - you have nothing to lose. 141 runs to get in 38 overs. 3.71 runs required an over during the evening session. 8 wickets remaining. Who's going to be the Sussex hero? It would be quite something if it was Davis! www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/947059.htmledit: Oh dear, a dream too far! We now need a Captain's innings.

Yes. Luke Wright owes us an innings. 50 or 60 from him will see Sussex home and take us to third in the table, with a game in hand on the top two...(fourth if Worcs can bring off a remarkable win v Northants)

Adrian Harms you are a clown. He just started speculating on Nash getting two centures in a match for the first time in his career. Two balls later the curse of the commentator did for him. Gggrrrrr!!!

I hereby ban all attempts at goatmouthing and all varieties of it on this thread for the remainder of this match.

I hereby ban all attempts at goatmouthing and all varieties of it on this thread for the remainder of this match. The Adrian Harms gatemouth was particularly brainless because Nash wasn't even anywhere near his second century - he was only on 64!!!

Harms tells us that a tweet from Zac Toumazi says the club are 'thinking about' live streaming for next season. COME ON CAPTAIN AND VICE CAPTAIN SEE US THROUGH TO A VICTORY. SHOW US YOUR MENTAL RESOLVE! Run rate rising to 4.3 runs an over. Oh dear...

Massive oh dear there, not looking good at all now! Nash and Wells were playing in a different game to anything I've watched since.

Good for Brown - time to attack - it's the only way forward. If only he can show the same mental resolve as he does with his table-tennis, Brown could see us through. Weird we are relying on his partner whom no-one had heard of a month ago!
Oops. Archer goes. Sussex are now staring down the barrel.
edit: This match is swinging more than a pendulum! Is Danny going to be our hero?

It looks like the old forgotten how to win scenario, which is a mental thing.
We've gone from 113-2 to 156-7, to follow collapsing from 180-2 to 261-9 in the first innings.
With hidnsight, sending in Davies at four was naive. He spent nine overs scoring 12 runs and that was when Glamorgan seized back the initiative.
