Colin Milburn tried to. Mystery is Joyce. Presumably, he has Ireland commitments. Huge accolades to Mags. A great achievement. Shame he couldn't find his straps earlier on in the season. As this is Division 2, he could have got a whole heapful of wickets edging up towards the 100 mark.

Just had "Railinggate" which stopped play for over 5 minutes. Glare from a railing in southern part of ground off-putting Worcestershire batsmen. Problem resolved.

My, Hudson-Prentice opening, 2 balls, out for 0. Never would have thought that would happen, would you?
On edit: Cachopa as well, 4 balls for 0. There's a surprise!

Nash just gone for 23 - he was looking excellent until being trapped plum by Leach.
Robinson in at number 5, I mean he can definetly bat but number 5? Hope he proves me wrong!

Where are Wells and Joyce? Hudson-Prentice isn't an opener and I'm not even sure he has ever opened before. Cachopa is not a number 3 either. Robinson is not a number 5.

Fynn H-P on shaky ground I suspect as he is out of contract at the end of the season and has done nothing to warrant a renewal. Cachopa the same and would expect a dialogue between him and Davis about not playing out his final contracted year. Salt needs to show something in his next 2 innings otherwise he will go the same way.
Simply not good enough I'm afraid.

Can't blame Fynn here as he is not an opener and should never have been put in that position. Cachopa is four years older than Fynn and really should be doing better.

Still not sure why Salt wasn't given a chance to open and feeling a bit sorry for Fynn H-P being put in that position against a very good opening pair. Hope Salt can come out tomorrow and provide Brown with a partner.
Cachopa once again proves he should not be at the county, let alone batting number 3 in the county championship.
I agree that Robinson shouldn't be batting at number 5 but to be fair to him he did look quite good other than the occasional headless waft before he got out in the last over.

Robinson was only batting at 5 because he was the nightwatchman.

Fynn has been on the staff for two years. Granted most of those two years have been in the second XI but he can't stay protected there forever, there comes a point where he has to be tested, he's now 20 years old. Do you suggest he stays in the 2nd XI for another year, or do we say thanks but no thanks and give another youngster a go? I think I've said before that he showed huge promise in the age groups but he hasn't been able to convert that promise regardless of batting position.

It is completely absurd to write off a player at 20. Thank god you're not running the county.

Haseeb Mameed, Dan Lawrence, Jack Burnham and Aneruin Donald are all 19 and first pick batsmen for their counties.
