No ones bothered in cricket on this forum, they just want arguments.

My guess would be Rawlins, Whittingham and Shahzad to miss out but perhaps they'll rest Magoffin more this season and play one of the younger bowlers. I hope the arrival of Philander and Wiese doesn't mean that our young quicks don't get game time in the first team.

I'd agree about Whittingham and Shahzad, and perhaps the last place is between Rawlins and Finch. It's interesting that Briggs' stock has risen so much during the winter after a very flat year, in all senses, last season. If Finch doesn't play, Van Zyl will have to open. Whatever the final choice it looks like a new and potentially strong team, and as we've said a lot recently, they are going to have to prove themselves over and over again to get out of a second division that is drifting further and further away from first-class status.

I think Whittingham & Shahzad are almost certain to miss out. I think Wright really should be the third but they're not going to leave him out so as others have said Rawlins might not get a chance .

Not the team that I expected.....a lot of batting, but whether it can take 20 wickets is another matter.
Chris Nash Harry Finch Delray Rawlins Stiaan van Zyl Laurie Evans Luke Wright(c) Ben Brown(wk) David Wiese Jofra Archer Vernon Philander Ajmal Shahzad

Shahzad over Magoffin? How are we going to take 20 wickets? Have we learned nothing from 2016? We need five bowlers as we possess the quality to bowl teams out twice.

Magoffin has a knee niggle / injury. A big loss that will be.
Very interesting to see if Rawlins does bat at 3, jumping above a former test top order player in Van Zyl.
Good luck Sussex
