So Finn tows the line, the project is good. What do you expect a man to say who gets ยฃ100K a year in his 1st season? The whole thing stinks, it won't work? Of course he's going to say 'all is good'. He has to be a YES man to keep his job. Who else would sign him? The problem as I see it is, not enough (any) seasoned pros to help & guide these young men. Back in the day, a young pro had Adams, Kirtly Goodwin, etc to help & keep them in line and learn the way. Now they have no one. Salisbury has got rid of players who could have moulded them to be decent pros. Most can't play 4 day cricket. They haven't learnt to bat or bowl in 3 day 2nd team cricket. I should think the Tom Clark batted the longest time in his career against Notts. He's played more 1st team games than 2nd. How does he learn? Lenham, serious injury to his back, surely has to change his action if he wants to stay fit, dropped in to a 1st team game. My comments echo Clark, NO background in bowling long spells or being restrictive with runs. Nothing to draw on if it goes wrong or is hard. Totally different from T20. This 4 day squad lack leadership and player management within the group. Until they get that and experience in the longer game they will struggle.

Do you honestly think what the club has done over the last four to five years has been successful? Please answer the below questions; 1. Is the squad improving year on year? 2. Are we finishing in a better or worse league position each year? 3. Have we got more or less members than we used to? 4. Are the crowds getting bigger or smaller? 5. As a club are we getting more or less attractive for players to join? 6. Are we getting better or worse at retaining our talent? I couldnt care about being proved right or wrong I just want Sussex to be successful and win a few games of cricket. I was there today and we were just dreadful I'm going to answer these questions based on my belief in the 5 year plan they put in place last year to try and rectify previous failings. 1. Is the squad improving year on year? Yes significantly, particularly when you consider how many players were unavailable and we still put in a strong performance against a top team. 2. Are we finishing in a better or worse league position each year? I think we will finish higher this year than last and we will win more games of cricket. 3. Have we got more or less members than we used to? No idea, i dont care too be honest. It's not my concern 4. Are the crowds getting bigger or smaller? Smaller but thats down to the ECB's lack of promotion and also due to live streaming 5. As a club are we getting more or less attractive for players to join? More, signing Rizwan and Pujara suggest that. Finn also spoke very highly of the project here, our inability to be able to compete financially with the big clubs can hold us back. 6. Are we getting better or worse at retaining our talent? Worse but as above Finances dictate.ย ๐๐๐you lost everyone with your answer to 1.๐คฆโโ๏ธ

At least i speak in fact rather than just spout of some weird vendetta you have against me. Anyway John, im getting back to my poker table in Vegas, to cheer yourself up why dont you rearrange your Crawley Town programmes?
