Ollie gets his fifer (5-59). Streets ahead of anyone else bowling today. After a great Sussex start, Worcestershire has fought back this afternoon. 263-8 after being 45-5.
edit: Now 6 wickets for Ollie. No doubt Smith is madly scribbling down notes to pass over to his Aussie batting mates. edit: Unbelievable! Ollie gets his seventh wicket and takes the last 3 wickets on his return in seven balls. Ollie: 17 overs, 3 maidens, 7-59. Worcestershire: 264 all out.

This is back to the Ollie Robinson we know and love. Hope he gets decent backup from the other bowlers. It's not just that the others can't get the batsmen out, it's they can't even close one end down. Fair play to Worcestershire for the fight back, but boundaries seem to be coming quite easily and frequently for Waite and Leach. Hunt going at over six an over and H-P at almost five and a half. I know he has been unlucky with injuries, but he doesn't look the same player that was one of the first names on the teamsheet during his time with Derbyshire. Having been 44-5, even with a rearguard action they shouldn't have got over 200. A real problem over the last few seasons is how we get ourselves into really strong positions, only to fail to press home the advantage. At last the partnership is broken. No prizes for guessing who took the wicket.

Robinson 7 for 59, so good to have him back.

Just heard Haines and Carson both injured which makes more sense of the selection now. I think it just made the option to leave Carson out easier. This is the most balanced side we've had all season. Still think it’s balanced?

I note the Sussex bowlers are leaking extras again. 22 during the first innings.

You could always say wicket keeper byes is lazy shoddy and unprofessional but it's just part of the game.

Completely disagree. The odd no ball within a 4 day game perhaps but 7 in 55 overs is too many.

Robinson was superb. Unfortunately the rest of the attack was village green standard. Why do we keep persisting with Sean Hunt who is clearly not good enough. Time for Currie or Karvelas. Hudson-Prentice has been disappointing. Where is his Derbyshire form?

Off for rain at Chelmsford so tuned in for the Worcs live stream. It’s like watching cricket on the BBC in the 80s only one camera!! From one end you see the back of the batsman!! Don’t these counties realise more and more people will tune in and to have decent pictures for f**k sake!!!! Smith and Pujara playing well.
