Worcester have won one, lost one and drawn one. They are currently on 35 points in 4th place behind Sussex on 41 points.
The big news for this one of course is Steve Smith joining the squad. This will mean McAndrew, who’s our leading wicket taker, misses out. Farbrace has said that Robinson will play the next 3 games where Smith is involved so hopefully we’ll see a fit and firing Ollie.
The forecast for this one isn’t looking great so we need to get those bonus points.
An encouraging start to the season and undefeated so far, let’s keep it up!

Robbo in for McAndrew, then I reckon Coles misses out for Smith to play as a number 5. Harsh on Coles given how he batted last week.
Another possibility is that Carter makes way, Alsop WK and Smith comes in. Again, it'd be harsh on Carter.
Or the unthinkable, Smith doesn't play! (disclaimer: I am joking)

That's another possibility. I considered your suggestion from months back of having Alsop keep and batting at 6, as mentioned by j, but that would indeed be incredibly harsh on Carter who has made an excellent start.

Garton has not been named in the fourteen man squad. No Currie either. I expect Clark, Coles and Karvelas to be left out of the final eleven with Smith replacing Coles and Robinson replacing McAndrew as the only changes from the last match.

Particularly given his runs in the last match aswell as him being given more overs than Carson. Haines is presumably injured? Good start by Sussex. Clark has excelled in the field, just can't buy a run. |
