The standard of umpiring in county cricket is appalling

You couldn’t tell if the Smith LBW was too high as he had his back to the camera!! What’s so difficult to have cameras at both ends of the ground!!!

Agreed just can’t believe Worcs still think we are stuck in the 80s watching the batsman with his back to the camera!!!!!

Crucial partnership for the 6th wicket given the mini collapse. Beauty of having 7 batters.

How impressive has Oli Carter been so far this season?
I have to confess at being in the Charlie Tear camp ahead of the start of the season, but how wrong was I?
It isn't just the runs he has made, the crucial batting partnerships he has been part of or the way he steered us home against Durham when others lacked the required discipline and composure.
His wicket keeping has also improved significantly, which was probably what cost him his place at the end of last season where he was culpable of putting down some very routine catches alongside some less than convincing glove work.
Other than the misunderstanding between him and Alsop where one went between them in the Gloucestershire match, I can't recall him putting a foot wrong.
His time spent down under during the winter months is clearly paying dividends.

Pujara batting sublimely (97*), Hudson-Prentice showing flare (27*), 58 run partnership, a lead of 7, roll on post-tea play.
Sussex: 271-6.

Another century for the phenomenal Cheteshwar Pujara who would surely deserve a place in an all-time Sussex XI.

All out for 374, 109 lead. A good knock from Hudson-Prentice, although not sure what's going to happen to the batting when Pujara (136) leaves for International duty.
Rain forecast for tomorrow. Perhaps, Sussex can win this game through just two players: Robinson and Pujara?

Perhaps, Sussex can win this game through just two players: Robinson and Pujara? Wicked, cricket is a team game. Sussex are playing well as a team. Agreed Pujara is quality and without Robinson our bowling is vulnerable. However batting is all about partnerships and I applaud those who are contributing while batting with Pujara. Also it would be nice to have McAndrew playing. Let's hope we can skittle out Worcester tomorrow or Sunday.

Perhaps, Sussex can win this game through just two players: Robinson and Pujara? I think FHP’s fifty made a huge difference, so he deserves a mention. If he had gone for single figures, I think Pujara would have slogged and taken what he could while he had partners. It’s good that we keep posting decent scores.

I agree, it's strange people want to find the negative in the positives. We are competing in every game.
