Is the guy who does all the Sussex social media related to or married to Phil Salt? Really is getting on my nerves now how many times Salt is flagged up when he’s done nothing. I’d rather have no news than the sort of rubbish which keeps being posted. I agree - it's scraping the barrel. We're short of cricket news at present - I'm thinking of starting a thread about Jack the Ripper, or possibly Mother Theresa. |

More hype! Are we interested in Adelaide Strikers progress in this completion? I’m certainly not. Salts last outing he scored the same runs as the number on his back (1) I don’t think that’s anything to celebrate is it?

Reports coming out of Pakistan that Phil Salt has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Islamabad United game due to be played yesterday is being played today instead after Fawad Ahmed tested positive yesterday. Tests were carried out last night and 2 more IU overseas players have tested positive, Salt being one of them.
Salt has now played 10 PSL games and scored 141 runs @14 so not such a big loss to them.

Great to see Phil Salt back in 1st team action and in fantastic form in the T20 this evening.
As one of our key players, let's hope that we can keep hold of him when his contract is up.
The management needs to ensure it is an absolute priority that he doesn't join the recent exodus of talent from the club, whatever the cost. |

Huge congratulations to Phil Salt for his 60 off 54 balls including 10 fours against Pakistan today. A 97 run third wicket partnership with Vince, after an early England batting collapse, won't harm his chances either.
